Memory, digestion, sense of smell, long life
- Eat a small amount of organic rosemary leaves every day – in salads or veggies
- Crumble the spikey leaves and put in a small bottle of olive oil and use on salads
- “Sniff” the essential oil every day. Make sure you use a high-quality organic brand. Breathe in through one nostril, holding the bottle against your nose; hold your breath and then slowly release through your mouth. Repeat with the other nostril. Also sniff vigorously, holding the bottle to alternate nostrils. May improve your sense of smell (and taste) when you breathe the oil fumes into the sinus cavity every day. May also improve your memory.
- Use the essential oil (or your own home-made rosemary oil) on your hair/scalp. Healthy for hair – also for the brain. With brain in mind, massage a drop of rosemary oil all across your forehead and a drop on the stem of your neck.
LOSING YOUR SENSE OF SMELL is associated with later experiencing the onset of dementia / Alzheimer’s. Who knows – maybe improving your sense of smell will have a reverse or containment effect on brain deterioration… It costs a few pennies, it’s easy – worth giving it a try.
