116: “Learn to relax”

Wise advice from the oldest person in the world (116): sleep plenty, eat well, take naps – learn to relax.

One marathon every day: 366!

Can you imagine running a marathon (over 26 miles) every day for 366 days?

A New Zealand couple in their sixties has done it – running around Australia in 2013, through all types of weather, fueling themselves with a 100% vegan, raw-food diet. No injuries, feeling great!

Janette is a cancer-survivor who was given 6 months to live more than ten years ago. She and Alan (her husband of more than 40 years!) set the world record in consecutive marathons to help people become more aware of living consciously, with compassion and good health.

Bravo!

From junk food to vegan

Here’s a beautiful bright-eyed young woman in UK who has managed to ditch her medicines, her junk food diet, and turn her health around just by adopting a gluten-free, whole-food, plant-based dietstyle.

Do you have to be vegan 100% of the time? If you’re ill, it’s advisable. If you love animals, it’s advisable. If you’re well and you love eating animals, Ella suggests 60% of the time plant-based with time out for other stuff.

She’s writing a book, sharing recipes online and feeling great. Good for her!

Aplomb – bravo!

Look at this kid have fun on a CostCo piano!
