Where to begin?

Chloe put together the following suggestions at the request of a friend with cancer.

She plans to post a revised version of this information to her new Spiral Up website. Meanwhile, this is used with many thanks to CFW – in case it might be helpful immediately to somebody in need.

The bottom line is: you might want to start by transitioning straightaway to a vegan dietstyle (no meat, fish, eggs, dairy) – with as much fresh raw organic fruit and vegetables as you can, including fresh organic juices (carrot, beet, etc.) and fresh organic fruit-based smoothies. Omit alcohol. We are not nutritionists, so cannot advise; we can only share what we would do if we had cancer. (AG and CFW have been vegetarians since the late 1960s & have been vegan for 20-30 years.)

The first thing I did was have all my root canal teeth removed. I know Steven Linsteadt has experienced that until ALL root canal teeth are gone, it is difficult to have a complete cancer cure.

Also have silver-mercury fillings removed. “It’s all in your head – diseases caused by silver mercury fillings” by Hal. A. Huggins.


Sunbathe for 10-30 minutes a day, getting sunlight on as much of your body as possible. Start with 10 minutes on each side, until you gradually increase this to 30 minutes on each side.

As you know, I’m not a nutritionist, so can’t advise or recommend. All I can say is that this is what I did when I had a melanoma, or what I would do if I ever got another cancer.

Vary these suggestions to suit yourself.


1 Glass of warm water with 15 SILICA drops. silica is incredible on numerous levels. Daun County in Germany has the lowest cancer rate in Western Europe and its springs contain 80 mg per liter of silica. A connection?!).



REBOUNDER: gets your lymph moving

GLASS OF WARM WATER with fresh lemon squeezed in (alkalizing for the blood)

HOT AND COLD SHOWER. Alternate 7 times (Dr. Schultz swears by this

ORGANIC GRAPEFRUIT DELIGHT (prepare your tea first, so it is steeping while you make your Grapefruit delight).

Glass of water in blended.


One grapefruit with the white pithy skin on. I lightly peel the grapefruit to keep all the white pith on (bioflavonoids)

some ginger root. ¼-1/2 inch of the root according to taste. Anthea has a lot more.

1-3 cloves of garlic

AFTER THIS: have two glasses of tea:

#1 option: fennel, fenugreek and flaxseed tea. One teaspoon of each to 3 cups of boiling water. Steep for 15 minutes. Keeps bowels open and eliminates toxins.

#2 and 3. Nettle tea or Horsetail tea. VERY high in silica.

#4 Sage Tea. The Breuss Cancer cure: he says sage tea is the most important of all teas. Take throughout your life. One teaspoon in 2 cups boiling water and boil for exactly 3 minutes. Steep for 10 minutes

ANOTHER OPTION FOR BREAKFAST or any time of the day:

Glass of water in blender

1 banana

1 apple  and/or slice of pineapple (to keep pineapple fresh  I cut a ½-1 inch slither across the pineapple and then turn the open side onto a plate.)

some parsley (fresh, organic; high in natural iron: blood)

some cilantro (helps detoxify heavy metals and other toxins)

stick of celery

Teaspoon of MACA powder (high in sulfur and complete protein)

2 dates

Teaspoon of coconut oil

SPRINKLE WITH FRESHLY GROUND FLAX SEEDS: flax seeds contain all the essential AMINO_ACIDS; rich in fat-soluble VITAMINS: A, D, E. B1, B2 and C (vitamins body nees to process essential fatty acids). MINERALs: potassium, magnesium calcium sulphur, iron, zinc, sodium, phosphorus and important trace minerals. FIBER for healthy intestinal functioning. MUCILAGE: removes excess stomach acidity; soothes the mucous membranes.

FLAX SEED OIL.  1 Tb spoon added to low fat cottage cheese (Budwig’s cure for cancer): lots of research on the power of high quality fat (flaxseed oil) combined with sulphur-based proteins repairs oxygenation function when depressed by fatty degeneration resulting in cancer.

You can take some flaxseed oil mixed with organic honey. Or ground flaxseeds mixed with honey.



CARROT JUICE: I would have at least 3 glasses a day. Richest source of beta-carotene. Studies show that those with high blood levels of beta-carotene do not get cancer. Builds immune system; powerful anti-oxidant. Carrot juice also has many other vitamins and one of the most complete source of minerals. Contains complex carbohydrates which are not actual sugars, but form the basis of human nutrition. Also high in proteins.

Carrot and celery is excellent. (many different combinations. See N. Walker’s juice booklet where he lists all the combos he used).

GREEN JUICES: alternate with the carrot juice. Whatever number you can manage or afford. Gerson gives people 10 glasses a day. Start with something you can manage and then increase.  I drink my juices by themselves, about ½ hour before eating solid things.


8 oz red beetroot juice

2 oz carrot juice

3 oz celery juice

1 oz radish juice

Sip down throughout the morning.


Wheat grass drink (chlorophyll in grasses – and green veggies – is absorbed into the bloodstream through the lymphatic system – Japanese research.

Tomato/avocado salad with dulse flakes on top


Hemp seed (complete protein and other minerals)

Pumpkin seed or sunflower seeds (soak over night)

Sweet potato (everyone agrees that as much food as possible should be raw…at least 80% raw.

EVENING MEAL (not too late):

Quinoa or millet (cook like rice); salad or lightly cooked veggies: boil water. Put veggies in; turn heat off and let them sit in the hot water until cooked.

Or make an oatmeal mash: whole organic oat seeds. Cook like rice until very soft. Add flaxseed oil (don’t heat the oil) and some ground flaxseeds.

Soup; beans etc.


Avoid: SUGAR, soft drinks, coffee, black tea, alcohol, meat, fish, fowl, eggs, dairy, all processed foods.

AVOID OILS/FATS, EXCEPT FOR: avocado, freshly made flaxseed oil (should have the date on the bottle, otherwise it is usually rancid. In fact, massage flaxseed oil into your breasts. You want to get the circulation going there, so the nutrients reach the tumor area). Organic coconut oil a little Olive oil if naturally produced (in Italy or Greece?)


75% of lab animals fed a high-fat diet /high calorie diet got cancer.

Omega-3 fatty acids may protect against breast and prostate cancer: flaxseeds and flax oil and PURSLANE a common garden herb (pigweed) is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids;walnut and pumpkin oil


Diet high in fat increases the risk of breast, colon and prostate cancer.


AVOID SALT, except for a little gray, moist celtic seasalt and some miso.


AVOID fluoride, a known carcinogen. All fluoride toothpastes etc.


ELECTRICAL FIELDS and cancer: unplug electrical sockets in bedroom at night. Avoid digital clocks, especially by your head.x



GRAPES. In the 60s there was a fantastic book called The Grape Cure. A woman from S. Africa cured people with cancer, getting them onto nothing but grapes, alternating with grape juice. Organic. Now they’ve discovered that the skins of red grapes contain the great healer Resveratrol.

GREEN TEA is meant to be good for Cancer. Anti-oxidants. I put lemon juice into mine to improve the taste.

MAITAKE MUSHROOMS. Research in Japan says it stops cancers. RM10 is a supplement put out by Garden of Life (all organic); consists of 10 different kinds of mushrooms. He used this plus diet with his grandmother who was dying of cancer. Cured. I’m not much into supplements. Prefer the organic food source. But this is one I would probably use again, if need be.

RUDOLPH STEINER: MISTLETOE . 734.930.9462. Anthroposophical Medicine. Only from here: produces it from European mistletoe. . Stops cancer cells from growth. Create an anticancer fermented extract called ISCADOR. Only get it from above phone.

Dr. Livingston discovered ABSCISIC ACID, a substance found in plant hormones and vitamin A: “nature’s most potent anticancer weapon.” Cancer patients, she found, have very low levels of abscisic-acid. Stops cancer-cell multiplication and shrinks tumors.

Foods high in abscisic acid:

Root vegetables: carrot, turnips, radishes, artichokes, beets.

Also: millet; oats


CABBAGE FAMILY foods: cabbage; broccoli, cauliflower, mustard greens, Brussels sprouts. All contain INDOLE: destroys inactive estrogen in the bloodstream. Inactive estrogen is known to initiate new cancers, especially breast cancer.

Cabbage is a miracle juice to make. Contains anti-oxidant anticancer compounds.I used to have ½ glass first thing in the morning. Tastes good!! Also helps get rid of toxic drugs and carcinogens. Stops bacterial mutations and protects against low-level radiation.  Men who eat cabbage more than once a week can cut their colon cancer odds by 66%.

Lab rats fed brussles sprouts didn’t develop induced breast-cancer tumors.


Contains 32 sulphur compounds, 17 amino acids, selenium, magnesium, potassium, germanium, copper, iron, zinc, Vit. A,B,C etc.

SULPHUR foods (garlic, onion, horselradish, cabbage, broccoli etc., hemp seeds, MACA, pumpkin seeds, radishes (black, red and daikon) stop cancer-producing cells from forming; stop the enzymes that encourage metstasis. Garlic speeds the growth of healthy tissue. 30 studies showed that garlic and onion play a significant role in reducing cancer deaths. Garlic shields against radiation damage. Protects against breast cancer (in rats)


Major source of lycopene, a potent antioxidant.

BEE POLLEN found to contain an anti-cancer element: slows the development of breast tumors. Bee pollen must be collected in clear areas (the west mostly) and should be soft. If the pellet are hard, it could be old pollen and rancid. Avoid bee pollen pills; often made with poor quality, over-heated bee pollen.

VERY IMPORTANT: high in zinc, iron, manganese, minerals and trace minerals. Sprinkle on anything: salads, grains, potatoes etc. Kelp is rich in trace minerals: one speck of selenium can lower cancer incidence by 60% and raise immune function.


You can blend an apple, cinnamon, a teaspoon of Maca, a teaspoon of roasted carob. Makes a delicious healthy good-night comfort food!

TURMERIC (contacins curcumin) a cancer inhibitor: a phenomenal herb: anti-infection, anti-inflammatory.

Later you may want to check out HYPERTHERMIA. I haven’t looked into this. I have a infra-red sauna and have been told that it gets good results for every level of health, and increases bone density. I don’t know if hyperthermia is anything like this; Resource: Frank Wiewel, People Against Cancer: 515.972.4444. Don’t know who he is, but he may be able to tell you about hyperthermia.


Ellagic acid from berries known to kill cancer cells;

Glutathione in green leafy vegetables

S-allylcysteine in garlic

Lycopenes in organic tomatoes suppress cancer growth

ALOE VERA. Healer; cleanses colon; kills bacteria and viruses

CHECK OUT MSN. Another of these miracles. I’ve just read about it in David Wolfe’s book EATING FOR BEAUTY. I’m going to check out his website for this  and for sundried olives (also v. good); Flora’s premium vegetable silica from horsetail.

PROTEIN: most vegetables contain adequate amounts of protein that are easily digested and absorbed.  Plant proteins don’t feed tumor tissues, create arthritic conditions, damage kidneys as do animal proteins. Carrot juice is hiagh in protein, so are potatoes, oatmeal, goji berries, flax seeds, pumpkin, suflower, sesame seeds, livies, MACA, bee pollen, CHIA SEEDS (soak overnight) and hemp seeds.

You don’t need much of the above protein sources.

HYDROCHLORIC ACID before eating salads and veggies to help break down the plant fibers:

Celery (spinach, chard, kale) juice

Lemon in water

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar: teaspoon in water before meal or first thing in morning)


Black olives

Celtic gray sea salt.

Grass powders: I get PERFECT FOOD: raw organic green super sood (put out by Garden of Life. Raw, unheated, organic. Contains grasses, probiotic and enzye blend; sprouted blend; fruit and veggie juice blend and everything else you can think of.
